Eligibility Condition:
Educational Qualification: The candidate must have an MBBS degree from a known medical college/university and must have a valid Maharashtra Medical Council {MMC} registration along with an internship completion certificate.

Selection Procedure:
The selection under DMER Maharashtra Tutors/Junior Resident Recruitment 2026 is completely merit-based. The selection procedure is explained briefly below:
Merit List Preparation:- Merit will be calculated based on aggregate marks obtained in: First MBBS along whith Second MBBS and Third MBBS {Part I and II}
Tie-Breaking Criteria:– If two candidates have equal marks then a candidate from an older admission batch will be preferred /Older candidate by date of birth will be preferred / Candidates with specialisation (MD/MS/DM/MCH/DNB/CPS) will be preferred over MBBS-only candidates.
Preference Filling and Allotment:- After the merit list is published on 24 – February – 2026 the selected candidates must fill their college and subject preferences between 25 and 27 – February – 2026. Final seat allotment will be announced on 4 – March – 2026 based on merit rank and preferences.
